Bag Size Guide

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Choosing the right bag size is the difference between a bag you love and a bag that fights you every morning. This guide explains how JINMAN lists dimensions, how to read them, and how to match a bag to what you actually carry.

1. How We Measure a Bag (L × W × H)

Every JINMAN product page shows dimensions as Length × Width × Height:

Strap drop (the distance from the top of the strap to the bag opening) is listed separately, because it decides whether a bag sits at your waist, hip, or thigh.

2. Size by Use Case

NeedRecommended size (L×H)Best JINMAN styles
Phone, cards, lipstick (night out)16–20 cmClutches, mini crossbody
Daily essentials (phone, wallet, keys, cosmetics)26–30 cmMedium shoulder & crossbody
Work + 13" laptop / tablet + notebook32–38 cmWork totes, convertible tote-backpack
Travel / overnight (water bottle, book, folded scarf)34–42 cmLarge totes, hobo bags

3. Will My Laptop Fit?

Compare your device to the bag's interior length and depth:

When in doubt, pick the next size up — a bag that's 1–2 cm too roomy is far better than one that won't close.

5. A Note on Hand-Measured Sizes

Dimensions are measured by hand, so a variance of 1–2 cm is normal and not a defect. Color may also differ slightly from photos due to screen calibration. If exact fit matters for a specific item, measure that item and compare it against the listed L×W×H before ordering.
