JINMAN Bag Materials Guide

What Our Bags Are Made Of — Transparent, Every Time

When you're shopping for a handbag online, "what is it actually made of?" is one of the most important questions. At JINMAN we keep it simple and honest: every bag's exact material is printed on its own product page. This guide explains the range of materials across our collection, how to spot them, and how to care for each one — so you always know what you're buying.

What materials does JINMAN use?

Our collection spans several material families. Each is chosen for a different look, feel and price point:

Genuine leather styles

Several JINMAN bags are made from genuine leather and say so right on the product page. Examples from the current collection include the Ruched Gold-Handle Shoulder Bag, the Lychee-Grain Underarm Bag, and the French-Style Genuine Leather Work Tote. If a product page lists "Genuine Leather" (or a specific leather such as top-grain cowhide), that is the material used for that style.

Vegan (PU) leather & other styles

Many of our crossbody, woven and evening bags use premium vegan PU leather or other synthetics — a deliberate, animal-free, easy-care choice at an accessible price. Examples include the Artisan Woven Evening Bag (woven PU), the Cloud Dumpling Shoulder Bag (vegan PU leather) and the Vintage Underarm Phone Bag (PU leather). These are labeled clearly on each product page.
