Length × Height × Depth
Length is the width across the front, height is top to bottom, depth is how far it sticks out. A bag listed as 27 × 20 × 12 cm holds far more than a flat 27 × 20 × 4 cm clutch, even if the front looks the same. Depth is where real capacity hides.
Strap Drop Decides How You Carry It
Strap drop is the distance from the top of the strap to the bag opening. Under 25 cm sits under the arm (shoulder bag); 45–60 cm crosses the body (crossbody); very short drops are hand-carry only. Check it before you fall for a shoulder bag you expect to wear crossbody.
